I spent a big chunk of the day painting Shamrock and Gentian trim on the Valiant Violet garage/studio. Apparently I wasn’t tired of those colors yet. And the studio is my flower princess power castle, yes it is.

First day of vacation. Trying to let go of anxious thinking, but those thoughts are toothy and slippery!

I’m finding it hard to reconnect with the freedom of my daily drawing practice after the month of portraits. I think for a little while I will limit the time allowed on the daily drawing, partly to force myself to be less fussy, and partly to make sure I have time to finish my other May projects!
