
I drew myself a burfday pup

I had plenty of time free, so indulged in a long geometric meditation.
In effect, a coloring book page that I colored myself.

a man in the wilderness said to me, how many strawberries grow in the sea?
I answered him as I thought good, as many herrings as live in the wood.
I think I’ve done variations of this drawing more than once before, not sure why that nursery rhyme has stuck with me so strongly.

I feel like I’ve drawn something like this a number of times, and still don’t know what it’s about. Except that it might involve fish.
