Honestly these salt and spatter ink pieces aren’t truly Daily Drawings, since I generally start a few at a time and build them over a few days. I’m just trying to get one into a ‘finished’ state each day.
I have a couple of drafts left over from a portrait commission, which I didn’t like enough to show but liked enough not to throw away. Here is one reworked.
9/15/21 update: I keep trying to find a balance between the decorative flatness that I find so soothing, and loose playful spontaneity. At least in the reworking, the colors are more like what I originally imagined.
