Long day full of many conversations and people. Studio time was very late and short. But it was there, and here is what I made.

once again, I used up most of my studio time doing other things, so my daily is slapdash play.

9/15/21 update: I keep trying to find a balance between the decorative flatness that I find so soothing, and loose playful spontaneity. At least in the reworking, the colors are more like what I originally imagined.

rather long, frustrating time taken getting this to resolve into anything that felt remotely finished. It just didn’t know what it wanted to be. So you’ll find a half-formed face blearily peeking through clouds of chaos.
