I got tired of painting inside the lines. Take a break in the woods.

Honest to goodness, I didn’t realize until I scanned this that I’d painted a green snake on St Patrick’s day

I had a very tired day, so I guess it’s not surprising that I ended it with nighttime purples

I suppose inevitably here’s one in yellow.

That covers the primaries. Green, purple, orange next? Could happen! I’m having fun with this.

and then of course I had to do a blue one.

Today started out sweet and sunny and ended up in a wildly windy bluster. The pivots of springtide.

It’s funny how I can sit at the blank paper thinking I have no ideas and nothing to draw, and once I start making lines something like this sometimes emerges.

Sometimes it ends up not resolving into an actual story but stays in the realm of lines, shapes and colors. That’s just a different kinds of journey.
