The spirit of spring is stirring. Soon buds on trees and the glorious riot of bloomings

The return of the Dawn Chorus is bringing me much joy this spring

One of the pleasures of having a year unencumbered by work and social engagements (yes, that is a little tongue-in-cheek) is that I have been able to watch the sun rise from my east facing porch on many mornings. So I am feeling the progression of the seasons more deeply in my bones than I often get the time and leisure to do.
