Hey it’s that monkey with the snowball again. I love that old National Geographic photo hanging over my worktable. But maybe it’s time to put some new photos up.
just for the record, here’s what my worktable looks like, with closeup of the monkey in question.
I’ve been working on tidying up and organizing the studio. There’s something settling and grounding about sweeping the floor to collect the residue of footsteps and old projects from the past season.
Vacation over, I’m back in my own studio after a morning of goodbyes and watching dear family members sail off in different directions to get back to their regular lives.
Last day of vacation. I worked from photos I took during the week for this one, and mixed my usual water-soluble crayons with Acryla Gouache. The toad really wasn’t green but I got lazy with my colors. Then I hopped into a kayak with my phone in my pocket and tipped it over. So who knows when it’s dried out and put back together if I’ll still have any of these photos left.
