Thanksgiving at my son’s place in SF. After a dinner that couldn’t be beat, we settled into another epic bi-coastal adventure of Dungeons and Dragons. Only this time, most of us were all in the same room!
This was a lovely long day on the train, through glorious views of the snow-covered Rocky Mountains. This drawing was taken from a favorite photo of me as a fierce 5-year old. I still like sticks.
After the first night on the train we stopped in Chicago for a few hours. It was enough time to walk to the waterfront, and around the parks there. I met my husband in Chicago in the ’80s, and have not spent much time there since we moved back east, so this was a real treat.
I am in the thick of trying to catch up with the rest of my life after two weeks away, but will start posting a few pictures a day until I catch up here!
The first day of travel: taking a train from Massachusetts to California! The start of a grand adventure, but I missed my furry buddies.
I spent 2 days too sick to get out of bed, so there are no drawings for the 20th or 21st. Hopefully recovering now, but I’m about to go traveling for 2 weeks, away from scanner and studio. I plan to keep drawing as time and energy permits, but the blog will be inactive until I get back and catch up.
Here’s a little wanderer to start off the journey.
