I actually wanted to do this one with colors (and may still get around to it) but was away from my studio all day with just sketchbook, pencil and pens. Imagine vibrant spring/algae green from the head, desert landscape, and a red/black mass in the being’s arms.

neither fishes nor fowls
On the 20th I spent a lot of time on drawings that I don’t have any documentation of. I participated in a small group visioning exercise by listening in to conversations and sketching images of emerging themes. It was interesting and challenging. If I ever get the chance, I’ll scan or photograph the images and put them up here.
On the next day I just spent the evening visiting with old friends in our shared cabin, and doodling odd critters.
this took either way too much time, or way too little.
Simple. Goofy. Bright. That is how I get my respite today.
