I took a vacation day yesterday, to spend time with my family and celebrate my older son’s birthday. So the posts will skip the date of 28 May. No regrets.
I am working on a sticks-and-twine sculptural piece again, as reflected in this day’s art.
I started another of these ink and gouache paintings. Sometimes I wonder if I should even post them incomplete. But I’m still holding to posting each day what I made, and it’s enough of a picture I suppose, even in the incomplete state.
Sometimes when I lack inspiration, I leaf through old National Geographics that I keep around for collage material. I found this orangutan to be an arresting presence.
