I do not know who this is, or why they strolled across the paper stage. Perhaps you should give them a face and story of your own choosing.

Some day this cool weather will turn warmer and my garden will take off. Until then, enjoying the long, slow blooming of spring flowers.

The pretty green ink did not scan very smoothly, it’s really a warmer, leafier shade. This came about by inking a pencil doodle. Funny that I hardly ever use just graphite pencil for drawings, though I love the look and feel. I used to draw in pencil quite a lot.

Final destination, brother-in-law’s lovely place on a lake, and spending a whole day not getting into a car.
The following day no drawing, due to bad planning. I was lying about doing nothing on a very rainy day, figuring I’d draw after supper, but we realized we ought to start the drive home overnight to avoid traffic.
