walking through the garden
ALT: Watercolor background which is mostly an exploration of textures and colors, green foliage, blue and purple shadows, yellow and orange flowers. It’s kind of a bit of lawn with maybe a hedge above and drifts of blooms from the right side. On that ground, as if in a different reality, there are 3 odd calligraphic stick figures, apparently a couple and one more trailing behind. The garden just wanted to be inhabited, I thought.

ALT: four stout but somewhat bent and leaning posts stick up out of water. A stream of spots float on the water like petals and then up into the sky to disappear in the clouds.
what you see – what you know
ALT: acrylic painting. Green background with wide wavy streaks of darker green. Overlaid with blue-gray circles that each have sort of glyphs in them, some eyes, lip-shapes, spiderweb, spiral, etc. Winding through all are streaks of red. there’s one quite prominent eye i the bottom left corner.

I had the fear in me and so I danced
ALT: abstract acrylic painting, black lines with white highlights on a mostly red ground, looks like bare branches and maybe rib bones and horns? a lot of upward-swooping energy
I’m in a bit of a prickly funk
ALT: acrylic painting, abstract expressionist I guess, a sad-looking face peers back from within a corona of pink and red spikes and darts.

ALT: close-up of a pale green shoot withe scrawly dark green marks climbing all over it. The two long leaves seem to be droopy as if not enough water lately but they’re still very green and would revive. Dirt below, and behind is yellow and pale blue circle of light. The right edge of the page is night-black, but we have entered the light half of the year so it’s no longer dominant.
Not a new art, I first posted this one a year ago (3/21/24) but finally getting around to putting more colors on it. Still not done, but it’s what I did with my art time this day.
