Yes I wanted to do Inktober, but I dunno that I will have the time each day to do a drawing. I did one today, not very good, though I “shouldn’t ought to” judge myself, but it took 2 hours, and that’s a lot of time in a full day. I might do Inktober52 instead, and just aim for a drawing a week…or I won’t do anything officially at all. Hmmmm…
I hear you, I have to keep fighting my schedule to get studio time each day!
A thing I do love about ink is that, if you’re willing to suspend judgment, it can be very fast and immediate. A gesture of brush on paper, simple and calligraphic. The time spent is mostly in the mind, not on the paper. Then you just hope what appears on the page is at least evocative of what you imagined!
