Exuberance may not seem like the right word, but I had the impression that you, the artist were exuberant in painting these gentlemen…I could be wrong, but the color blue is so cheerful here, even if the figures seem more morose than exuberant.
Thanks, Phoebe! I did get to start coloring the robes of these people last night, and the colors I had in mind are indeed fairly exuberant, so maybe it won’t seem like the wrong word by the time I’m done!
