the color balance of this scan is way more yellow and blown out than the actual drawing. It’s on a cream-colored paper, and I think the scanning program is trying to compensate to make it turn white.

Sometimes I start with no particular focus or clarity, and end up piling more layers on hoping that eventually something will emerge that feels like a completed drawing. Sometimes that just doesn’t happen.
So here you go. It’s sort of a horse peering over to nuzzle what started as a sort of jug and ended up more like a cherry. Oh well, for what it’s worth, it’s a drawing for the day.

I seem to be on a run of line work suitable for coloring in.
I continue to listen to the processing of the George Zimmerman trial verdict, and the complexity of race relations in this country. While there is outrage, I think there is also relief that some things are at last being talked about out loud in the national media.
