I stood on a hill, I walked by a stream, I traveled on roads when the world was a dream.
I know these places. I had been here soon, when the sun was asleep, when the light was moon.
Odd half-dream last night, remembering places I could see in detail but could not at all place in the waking world, or tell how I knew them, what I’d done there, and why it felt so significant.

I went to watch my niece’s dance school recital. Two hours of dancing princesses in glittering gowns, from 2 years old to high school seniors. If you follow this blog you know something of how I feel about dancing princesses, though this drawing doesn’t really do them justice.
