We’ve come to the season where I find bumble bees sleeping on the late blooming flowers in the morning. The yellow jackets seem to have given up their nest in the strawberry bed, the last raspberries are ripening, and the last of my zucchinis coming along. Soon it will be bedtime for the garden.
I may need to replenish my supply of some ink colors soon! The green and brown are ever-changing mixtures of the leftovers from wash pools. I love the way the colors sometimes separate as they sink in, it’s unpredictable and magical.
