Sometimes I have no idea what a painting is trying to be. Then on top of several layers of aggravating indecision you might end up with this tired and baffled pet.

I don’t think I’m finished with this one yet, it’s another salt-wash think but just acrylics this time, no ink. Lots of faces coming out of the swirly stuff. Pretty happy with the colors so far.

Maybe not completely finished, but close enough to let it go for now.

I’m reworking a picture from long ago (March 7, 2020) which I liked but some things bugged me so let’s see if I can make something that feels really finished. I’ll post an update below when I’m done.
