story time
ALT: acrylic painting. Blue background, a sort of jackalope seems to be holiding court while two other personages pay happy attention. One is sort of humanoid, the other is more like a frog or lizard.

deeep
here it is again, now with eel and jellyfish. Not sure I’m interested enough to push this one further, at least for now.
ALT: acrylic painting. watery blue swirls on a black background. there is indeed a jellyfish floating behind a sort of seahorse-merperson, and also an eel sort of thing. Some lines of calligraphic marks that could be imaginary writing or bubbles, and some dots that remind me of markings on shells/

loose ends
ALT: crayon drawing, abstract. Bold supporting structure of blue swipes. Flanked by colors of evening and dawn on either side, and night above. An organic mess of something stringy goes from bottom to top, resting on the blue bar where it crosses. And stuff. I pulled the name as much out of the air as I did the drawing.

i need to go out and play
ALT: ink drawing, very sloppy, black and gray with yellow highlights. You might see a sun in the upper left corner. You might see a person sitting anxiously, entrapped in gray blobs. you might see anything else, that’s fine. I just got home from a couple days of travel, and needed to go out and be with people for a bit.

dream visitors
ALT: crayon and ink drawing, mostly blue with yellow lights. There’s a sleeping person on the bottom left, they only look a little worried. Floating around on the rest of the page are a number of characters: a fat bird, something with a very pointy face, a couple of people one older, one younger. Child-like stars drawn above, three of them. Lots of windy, floaty lines hanging it al together.

at its foundation there was always the dance
ALT: mixed media (acrylic, ink, crayon), abstract. There is a lot of imaginary writing, in black, gold, and red, drifting in lines across the page in all directions. There is some transparent blue, purple, green light shining through in the spaces between. You could maybe see a pair of stick figure dancing in the black and white lines. They echo the original compositional lines that I laid down when I started this one.
