A Facebook friend shared a post about how a long-term light capture photograph of an apparently empty square of the night sky revealed thousands and thousands of distant stars and galaxies. It is an amazing web of matter and energy that we are such a tiny part of. And I’m grateful for openings that remind me how vast is the mystery.
My friend Jeff Colby coined the term “Calligraphantasmagory” to describe my pictures with this type of linework. I am amazed and grateful for his wit and facility with language!
On my morning walk I saw two bald eagles perching on a tree overhanging the river. Later a pair of geese flying overhead. Just adding these to the collection of bird pairs. It’s only a little disturbing to me that they seem to have only one wing apiece.
