Last day of summer. It was an achingly beautiful day – sunny, warm but with cool breezes. Trees just starting to give up on being green. Asters and goldenrod humming with bees and butterflies. I do not relish the return to cold, so I savor this every moment I am outside.
May you find good balances in your life this Autumnal Equinox.
Honestly these salt and spatter ink pieces aren’t truly Daily Drawings, since I generally start a few at a time and build them over a few days. I’m just trying to get one into a ‘finished’ state each day.
ink base with acrylic glazes. More fun with spatter and salt. I’m glad folks seem to like my experiments!
splash, spritz, dribble and drip. Maybe there’s somebody hiding in there.

This feels not-quite-resolved, but I like the colors and love what the ink did with water and salt. it lead me to travel in a magical autumn forest
