I spent the evening learning a couple of dances with Green River Tap & Die, a local Molly dance team (a type of folk dance from the British Isles) I was reminded how difficult it can be if, like me, you have a hard time telling left from right quickly, or clockwise from counter! Still fun, but I arrived in studio with brain still twirling and a little befuddled.
Couldn’t get to my studio today, but had a bit of time to sketch my sister’s pets. Part of my rules for posting my dailies is not to criticize my arts. But Sylvie kept moving, and she came out looking a lot more anxious than she really is. Stafford really is a tiny bit evil, so no apologies for making him look that way!
I got my covid and flu vaccinations in the morning, and was feeling sore and feverish by evening studio time. But the moon was full, and the crickets still singing in the garden, still green in this late warm spell and no frost yet to quiet the last strains of the warm growing season.
