This reminded me of a game from childhood we called “Dancing in the Moonlight”. It was a sort of tag, and you had to play at night in a place with light and shadows. We innocent creatures would waltz about as far from the safe home base as we dared, singing “dahncing in the moooonlight”. Then suddenly a monster would leap from the shadows and catch as many as they could before we could get back safe home. I don’t think there was really any more to it than that, but somehow that was enough.

I have two lilac bushes in my yard that got confused by the summer drought, and are getting ready to bloom – strange and wonderful.

I was wearing my “meh” t-shirt all day. Maybe it sunk in.
