I really do love the season of Solstice/Yule/Christmas/New Year, but there’s always a component of stress. And this year the isolation is giving me a really good look at all that. Because, not enough singing, dancing and eating together, not enough hugs. I hope everyone is getting through it all OK, but clearly a lot of people will be having a hard, sad time.
Seed pod. What is precious that we will carry through the winter, until the soil warms enough for it to grow next spring?

I often have TV shows running on my tablet as I draw and paint. Just finishing up watching “The Good Place”, so this caricature of Ted Danson as Michael happened. I have a couple of portrait projects that I’ve been putting off for months and months, because excuses, but maybe I should get around to them soon.
