Actually I went to see “Feral”, a puppet and actor theater thing by Sandglass Theater, and they did something very like this in their production, where a tent-shaped prop became a huge bell skirt for a masked actor, a stage for puppetry, and a screen for shadow work. Brilliant stuff.
