ALT: crayon and ink drawing of a creature that is horse-like, albeit with improbable bends in the legs, and it has a neck and head that look rather more like a snake. But with ears. It’s mostly drawn in blues and greens, with black ink dashed on top.

And what I actually spent most of my time on, another darn star:
ALT: a 6-petal flower of yarn and embroidery floss woven and crocheted over a pipe-cleaner framework. The colors are graded shades of blue, but my scanner doesn’t like to reproduce that turquoise shade, so it looks like there’s more purple and teal than in reality.

ALT: crayon drawing of a face, not a portrait of anyone in particular. it’s stylized a bit, and sort of a weird shape. there are some kind of wiggly green decorations around the neck for some reason.
hey bird
ALT: crayon painting, it’s a bunch of orange lines that resoved themselves into sort of a bird shape, but with more or less a fish’s tail, and those shapes emphasized by drawing over them with darker (brown and black) lines.
who knows what will sprout
ALT: crayon doodle of a sort of sunflower with a spiral center to its bloom. the flower is off balance on the stem, and the last few petals look a little like teeth. there’s a small crescent moon above, and something a little spiky reaching upward below the flower. not sure what that was about but it balanced the picture.
windy
ALT: crayon and ink, abstract. it’s a lot of swooshy ink lines, with a few splashes of orange, blue, and green. it could be a few people tossing a disc on a windy day, if you squint I suppose
springtangle
ALT: ink and water-soluble crayon and graphite. Abstract, decorative. a tangle of swirls like vines and leaves, in green, russet and gold. There’s a sort of snail shell in the very center, and all the other lines seem in motion around and through it.
nightfall
ALT: crayon drawing. There are two purple figures (stylized) one floating upright in the upper right, one upside down near the ground on the low left. A row of bubbles divides the page from the bottom right to top left. Three crescent moons like bananas tumble from top to bottom. All on a dark ground.
abstract
ALT: crayon drawing with lots of curved and looping lines. Wider ribbons of purple and green, worked over and around by thinner lines of orange, having tighter curves. No meaning intended, probably more like a mood.
