old and green
ALT: crayon drawing. Two beings having large, old and tired-looking heads on stems, with happy green leaves, little skirts and funny shoes. They may be whispering conspirationally, or making knowing comments to each other.

pulling the string
or, “Miss Dysanthropoid and the Misanthropic Boid” (title from Jeff Colby)
ALT: crayon and ink drawing. One odd being is holding a string connected to a series of perhaps pulleys. Another stands with their arms upraised. A bird watches from above. This is all happening in a thicket of bare trees, and there’s maybe an opening or door up above where the pulleys hang.

roar energy
ALT: crayon drawing. A sort of bug is in the lower right corner, baring teeth and making claw-hands. they have a bumble bee sweater and purple arms and legs, and curly antennae. cuuuute. The rest of the picture is large curls in a sort of fleur de lis shape, pink and purple, with yellow and orange energy lines.

resurrection
Hey! I had my right hip replaced, so time out from making art. But now I’m limping around again, and could get out to my studio! Hoorah! I spent most of my studio time working on a careful and fussy painting, so for the daily I just blew it out and used up the colors on my palette. No apologies!
ALT: a green being something like a praying mantis but minus one set of legs, and a head a bit more like a frog, eyes and arms uplifted before an aggressive red and purple sky.

one more last one
ALT: crayon drawing. A child eagerly reaches for an ice cream cone that an adult is handing them, although the placement is pretty awkward. I didn’t think I’d get into the studio today, what with preparations for tomorrow’s surgery, but hey! I found an hour so so and that was a treat.

last call
ALT: crayon and acrylic. Some kind of bird, with storky orange legs and bill, blue and purple plumage, tail a bit like a rooster. Abstract green and blue background, to use up the acrylic paint currently on my palette. I’m going for a hip replacement on the 27th, and probably won’t be able to get to my art space for a week or two. So cheers till then.
