I made a sign for tomorrow’s No Kings rally for my daily art today.
ALT: an inflatable tyrannosaurus rex with a huge toothy grin and a little crown on their head is holding a banner saying “no kings but us”. The background is the stars and stripes of the US flag.
ALT: crayon drawing. A horse or llama-like creature with colorful head and neck-wear seems to be looking over its shoulder at you, although you can’t see its eyes. The background is a sort of fiery red and yellow.
ALT: crayon doodle, sort of calligraphic. a dark blue stick-figure person is dancing off on a swirly pink path, trailing a line of leafy banners or something. Never forget to find joy.
ALT: crayon drawing. A squat, dark blue bird with purple wings and a fat yellow bill and a round rolling eye sits on the bottom right of the drawing. There is some yellowish viney foliage, and among it is a sort of creature that seems a cross between eel fish and dragonfly nymph, perhaps. The background is concentric orange and red circles on dark red shading up to dark purple.
ALT: crayon drawing of an odd critter sitting on a pink pillow. It has a blue, triangular head with yellow whisker, long skinny neck with red spikes along it, yellow legs and tail. Adorable.
ALT: crayon drawing. Two blue beings with small triangular insect-like heads, no arms and quite human legs and feet stand and sit by two squiggley brown-orange being that are more like tree vines. But also have no arms. Or legs, actually. But they have sort of faces.
ALT: crayon and ink drawing. A sort of person faces out, arms upraised and leaning over or forward, nest to a shape that could indeed be an octopus, two or three tentacles upraised and the rest holding it up like a forest of legs. There’s another person in the background, so I think it could be at a park or something. It might be raining.
ALT: crayon drawing, still life. A sheaf of grain, a pair of crossed antlers resting on a deer skull (maybe?), a couple of apples or beets, anyway something round and red. Autumn colors. No, I did not do this from observation, so yes, it isn’t very realistic.
