ALT: water-soluble crayon and pencil, abstract, basically a bunch of squiggly lines in green, orange and purple. they resemble string or something organic.

And also, part of why my drawings of late have been so fast and loose is that I’ve given in to my frequent wintertime passion for tying knots. Here’s a bit of what I’ve been doing at my table, instead of drawing or painting.

ALT: five stars made with pipe-cleaners, and woven and sewn yarn. a variety of color and stitch patterns. Two are 5-pointed, the rest with six points. I call them “darn stars” as they use various techniques for mending holes in clothing.
