I spent a couple days in Brooklyn. It’s been a while since I spent that much time surrounded by asphalt and concrete, with so little access to rocks and trees and grass. It was fun and exciting, but I am very glad to be back home.

Love these colors and the almost abstract quality of this painting. You know it’s an urban scene, despite the colors. Very pleasing.
