odd token.
Not sure where this came from, but it reminds me of a cluster of very odd caterpillars I saw whilst picking blueberries in my sister’s garden. Apparently what I saw were yellow-necked caterpillars, you can read more about them here.
Bugs rule.
Thanks for the link! Bugs rule and knowledge is power but I confess (in shame) that I am completely and utterly terrified of caterpillars. And I’m even afraid of the moths and butterflies that such creeping larvae become. With the adult forms my fear is of being touched by them… but I’m even afraid when I see photos of larvae, of caterpillars! I say in shame because I want NOT to feel such fear but there we are. I have been terrified even of inchworms since earliest childhood… it’s too bad cuz bugs like the rest of the natural world are fascinating!
I understand! I have a similar reaction to maggots and some types of worms, it’s a deeply coded response. But the tiny world of insects has always fascinated me.
Yeah worms are included with insects in terms of what I am afraid of, most especially jumping worms, so called. But all creepy crawly wormlike things terrify me, and I wish it were not so.
