My current work on display at the Harmony Collective gallery is a dozen of older crayon and ink “indent and resist” drawings. I haven’t done any in a while, partly because they are physically demanding (a lot of pressing hard while drawing and coloring, followed by a lot of scraping). But I love the way the process completely obscures the end result. Whatever I think I’m aiming for, the revelation is always somewhat surprising.
