The drawing is cool as always but my attention was caught by the words afrobeat mashup band, AstroBeast. Care to elucidate?
AstroBeast is very much a for-fun project with a bunch of great local musicians. We play grooves mostly derived from Fela Kuti songs but mash them up with songs we like instead of using Fela’s words and stylings. Here’s a youtube bit of us at a festival last summer:
