What I was tired from was helping run a festival which included this beautiful environmental dance piece, “A Score of Dreams”, put together by Terre Unite Parker

One of my first art-related memories: I proudly showed my artist grandmother a drawing of a kitten. She said, “can you make it look fuzzy?”

the color balance of this scan is way more yellow and blown out than the actual drawing. It’s on a cream-colored paper, and I think the scanning program is trying to compensate to make it turn white.

Sometimes I start with no particular focus or clarity, and end up piling more layers on hoping that eventually something will emerge that feels like a completed drawing. Sometimes that just doesn’t happen.
So here you go. It’s sort of a horse peering over to nuzzle what started as a sort of jug and ended up more like a cherry. Oh well, for what it’s worth, it’s a drawing for the day.
