what I saw when I closed my eyes

I got a new pink pencil.

Sometimes I feel like I’m recapitulating bits of the history of modern art from my memory of art history textbooks.

Then I wonder when I’m going to have my post modern rebellion.

And then the  years of completely ignoring the art that I’m making.
