Tea tree.
I tip my hat to childhood memory of Edward Lear’s book of nonsense.
This was drawn at the end of a quiet day spent bringing houseplants in for the winter and finding places for them safe from the kittens, and wrapping twine around twisting wood of the thing I’m building for the cats to play on. I had no particular thoughts in my head at the time. Here’s the structure and a bonus picture of a kitty (I can’t tell if it’s Wrack or Ruin)
Last night we had our first freeze of the season. I brought in all the houseplants that summer outdoors. Now today I must find the time to clean and re-pot them, and find places where they’ll at least get a peek at the sun when it’s shining. So here’s a seed, the trunk of a wee palm, a bit of shelter, the blowing of a cold wind pushing leaves off of trees. Here’s a bit of rock, and a bit of rain, and a cold waning moon.
