Started in haste, but when I returned to the drawing at the end of the day, I really didn’t have anything to add.
I went to a show last night in a basement nightclub. Here’s my visual takeaway.

Tired after a weekend of glorious community singing with friends from near and far
I saw a cartoon of someone sitting at a piano with the notice, “press any key to continue”.
That’s what I often feel like with these drawings. Knowing that I just have to start somewhere, with something. The practice flows from there.
Then I just have to trust I’ll end up somewhere, even if when I look at it, I don’t really know just where that is

I had my eyes checked today. Still nearsighted but otherwise fine.
I heard somewhere that we only see rainbows because of the way the cones in our eyes work; they are an artifact of our particular biological configuration. Lens flares. Or a kind of mass hallucination.
