The days are so full of activity that I don’t end up drawing from observation at all, rather doodling during workshops. Memory of observations.
I saw four water snakes on my pre-breakfast walk, and spent a couple hours in a workshop playing with “zentangles”. That was a good day.
Grandma Mouses. Drawn while observing a game of Kubb, a Viking game that involves flinging sticks of wood at chunks of wood, and a fair amount of trash talking in between.
The theme of the cabin I stay in for Rites of Spring is flamingos. Hence, a tribute of sorts.
I am off to EarthSpirit’s Rites of Spring for the next few days, and will catch up on postings on the other side of the Memorial Day weekend.
