this one is from 11-18-24, but I tidied up the paint in studio, and tidied it up some more in digital form, so this is the current state of the print-ready picture. The image from my original post is below; I wonder if the cleanup is a good thing or not, it seems to take out some of the life but satisfies a strong urge I have for tidiness.

Oh I much prefer the original — both colors and the “untidiness” which I don’t see!!
I definitely agree with you on the colors, I may even go back again (again) and see if I can bring back the light that I lost in the touchup!
And I adore your cats whether tidied up or untidy!!!
Hi–I enjoy tidying up too–creating a piece of art traditionally and then tweaking it digitally. What program did you use? Both have their strengths–fabulous cats.
I use Affinity, which has a lot more capability than I actually know how to access!
Oh OK–yes! Well, it makes for interesting choices if you add in the digital for sure, especially if you separate your color and line work and make a bunch of layers LOL
